Complaints Against Doctors May Make Abortion Rarer

Complain away people. Complain away.

The Attorney General’s Office has filed complaints against four doctors who provide abortions, claiming faulty record-keeping — a move that could make it more difficult for women to have abortions in Indiana. While the Attorney General’s office routinely investigates consumer complaints against professionals, these cases are the first of this type in recent memory, advocates on both sides of the abortion issue say, and could reduce the number of doctors performing abortions in the state. Three of the doctors — Dr. Kathleen Glover, Dr. Resad Pasic and Dr. Raymond Robinson — practice at the Clinic for Women on West 16th Street. The fourth, Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, has performed abortions in South Bend and Gary and before that in Fort Wayne.
