Crowdfunding Her Way Into the Convent

Student loans are preventing her from entering:

There's only one thing standing between Mary Beth Baker and the convent of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in Nashville, Tenn. -- and it's $25,000. The 28-year-old PR exec and self-described "hardcore Catholic" is looking forward to joining the Nashville convent as a nun, but she must pay off her student loans first, as priests and nuns are not allowed to carry debt. Regarding her decision to become a nun, she told The Huffington Post, "As I've been realizing more, it's really about falling in love. I love the idea of being able to live for Christ with an undivided heart."

Perhaps she could fall in love with the idea of working double shifts, as so many others do, to pay off the debts she contracted, and then petition for admission.
