Should We Set Aside "Marriage" and Use "Holy Matrimony" Instead?

Really interesting piece from Msgr. Charles Pope:

Yes. I thought this when I was married and current events really reinforces the move. But mainly to remind people it is holy. Maybe reawaken our protectant brothers and sisters who helped water down the sacrament for selfish reasons, that God has punished us with gay marriage. The time to reclaim its place in our hearts and lives as the sacrament tht it is, should be be furthered.

Matrimony is HOLY, because God said: "You are men sacred to me for I, the Lord, your God, am sacred" And God uses this phrase eveytime God presents the law to man. God says this to make men realize that in this world, all law is, because man is, and man is sacred, because God is sacred. Holy Matrimony is HOLY, because man is HOLY, because God is HOLY. Wherever Holy Matrimony takes place Holy Matrimony is HOLY. The consummation of the vows and consent of man and woman is Holy Matrimony because God is HOLY. Atheism is nonsense.
