I find this article deeply disturbing. To say that those who hesitate about the changed enacted with VII want to "domesticate the Holy Spirit" is almost insulting.

The Church, in her beauty, spend almost 2000 years collecting all the things that make up her liturgy. That is part of the beauty of the Church - try viewing on youtube the Tridentine High Mass from Easter narrated by none other than the Vernerable Fulton Sheen (Our Lady Of Sorrows, Chicago). See what he has to say about that.

I grew up with VII, but I sense that something was lost when we stripped away so much of our heritage when things changed. I am not against change if driven by the Holy Spirit, but the fruits of this change seems to me to suggest that maybe it wasn't entirely the HS that drove the change.
