After rejecting the Catholic Church on all fronts, the university will be in denial, just like the LCWR. Lord is having mercy

Doesn't the new prefect of the CDF, Archbishop Muller, have an honorary doctorate from this university? Interesting. I wonder if he has to give it back now.

Somehow I KNEW it wouldn't be an American Catholic university. Why is that? A good share, if not the majority of so-called Catholic colleges/universities in the USA are a morass of heresy/dissent. Where is the outrage from the Vatican?

Nan, could it be possible that the Vatican employs many graduates from those same American Catholic universities?

As far as outrage goes, don't expect any. If Wuerl can get away w/ignoring Canon Law in his own archdiocese, then lots of bishops are doing the same thing.

Oh, I so thought it was going to be Georgetown!

They have been calling this past week wanting money, I finally picked up and said, "We only give money to Catholic organizations and institutions. Georgetown has shown in the past 3 years that they are NOT Catholic." Then I hung up.
