Bashir: Santorum Just Like Stalin

The confusing thing is that Bashir contrasts Stalin with the Pope as if the Pope were good. Hey, we'll take the compliment where we can get it. Now, logically, I'm not sure I understand how the guy who wants less government is more like Stalin but hey, MSNBC doesn't pay their guys to be logical. Newsbusters has the report:

Ultra liberal Martin Bashir hit a new low on Tuesday, outrageously comparing Rick Santorum to mass-murdering dictator Joseph Stalin. In a fit of vitriol, the MSNBC anchor also connected the Republican to George Orwell's Big Brother from 1984. However, the most repugnant moment came when Bashir spewed, "If you listen carefully to Rick Santorum, he sounds more like Stalin than Pope Innocent III."

-Fact 1: Health Care Tax Credit sponsored by Obama in 2010 allows smaller churches to pay less for health insurance.
-Fact 2: That means Non-Catholics helped Catholics pay for health care even though Catholic health care does not support contraceptives
-Fact 3: Now Catholics are asked to help Non-Catholics pay for health care which supports contraceptives
-Conclusion: Those who accept support from those they would refuse to support in a similar way are greedy sinners

Wow. Archangel's logic is unassailable. Next, he'll be telling us that because the government pays for roads, employers need to buy pro-choice bumper stickers for their employees.

Some people have obviously never read the First Amendment.

After stalin murdered every priest, lawyer, teacher of Poland at the Katim Forest, he blamed Hitler. After Stalin murdered 30,000,000 in the Ukraine, Stalin said: "To murder one man is homicide, to murder 30,000,000 is a statistic." Stalin was found dead on the floor of his bedroom of an asthma attack after he murdered his personal physician. The wisest of mind of the 13th century is St. Thomas Aquinas Philosopher, theologian, doctor of the Church (Angelicus Doctor), patron of Catholic universities, colleges, and schools. Born at Rocca Secca in the Kingdom of Naples, 1225 or 1227; died at Fossa Nuova, 7 March, 1274.

Dear Archangel: We are all greedy sinners some time or other. To violate the will of God in procreation and "nature and nature's God" is not the purpose of government constituted by the unalienable rights infused into the immortal soul of the sovereign person when two become one. Violating the will of God violates the will of the people. If you do not believe in God, God, who is existence, and believe that your unalienable rights come from the state, then you believe that the state gave you life, while murdering 54,000,000 other human beings with rational immortal souls. The First Amendment is to guarantee that your 54,000,000 brothers and sisters, our constitutional posterity may live and breathe and peaceably assemble. Your rationale also begets the question: Why would the state give life and unalienable rights and freedom to a human being and then allow another person to kill him?
