Theological Argument for Gay Marriage?

Say what? Campus Notes reports:

Jesuit, Catholic Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics website hosts an article from 2004 co-written by a Santa Clara professor of religious studies which proposes a theology that would accept same-sex “marriage.” The article is titled “Gay Marriage: Theological and Moral Arguments.”

While he implies that marriage is the sharing of the whole and entire person, he definitely leaves out the sharing of the pro-creative possibilities that marriage has always entailed. Gay marriage proponents just can't get over that hurdle no matter how hard they try.

I used to work at a Catholic school in the Diocese of San Jose that would regularly have this Fred guy mislead the faculty and staff with heretical ideas during inservices. These heretical theologians are doing severe damage to the Church. And the bishop of San Jose is both silent and inactive. Ineffectual.
