Enough with the Jesuit Jokes

I must admit I make Jesuit jokes. OK. Lots of them. So I'm pretty sure the man who calls himself 44 would be pretty upset with me pretty quick. And although I worry about vouchers (I'm more in favor of tax credits) I see his point about how Jesuits are out there in inner city schools doing their best with little support.

I must confess that occasionally I get a bit ticked at the Jesuit jokes. When people hear that I was married at Old St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, by a Jesuit, I inevitably get the old "is that considered a valid marriage by the Church?" Or "yeah it's Jesuit, but is it Catholic?" Ha, ha, LOL.

Three words for ya: Shut up, please.

If he doesn't like the jokes, he should request that his brothers stop giving us material for them.

That's bizarre... I learned most of my best Jesuit jokes..... from Jesuits!! It seems like every Jesuit has a collection of his favorites. I assumed it was part and parcel of the famed "Jesuit Sense of Humor."

Though, really, I think the point of his article was that the Christo Rey High School model is awesome. Which it is.
