I must confess that occasionally I get a bit ticked at the Jesuit jokes. When people hear that I was married at Old St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, by a Jesuit, I inevitably get the old "is that considered a valid marriage by the Church?" Enough with the Jesuit Jokes
I must admit I make Jesuit jokes. OK. Lots of them. So I'm pretty sure the man who calls himself 44 would be pretty upset with me pretty quick. And although I worry about vouchers (I'm more in favor of tax credits) I see his point about how Jesuits are out there in inner city schools doing their best with little support.

If he doesn't like the jokes, he should request that his brothers stop giving us material for them.
That's bizarre... I learned most of my best Jesuit jokes..... from Jesuits!! It seems like every Jesuit has a collection of his favorites. I assumed it was part and parcel of the famed "Jesuit Sense of Humor."
Though, really, I think the point of his article was that the Christo Rey High School model is awesome. Which it is.
