Off to the Nursing Home I Go

Brenna was watching me change the baby, which, of course, involves lots of sweet talk and belly kissing. She sounded almost wistful when she said, "Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be you."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

I thought something sweet would come next, but she replied, "Well, so much of your life is over..."
